On the Bon Appetite website they have made a few changes to this recipe and I followed their instructions. It was easy enough to prepare but while baking I did get wrapped up in something else and did not notice it was burning, until it was really burning! The inside was great though, I enjoyed the flavor. My husband however did not think it was sweet enough.

Good stuff! Irish breads can be bland. You can also put raisins in it to make it a little sweeter.

I just made this last night (and blogged about it, it must be the spirit of the month)!! It was sooooo good, with little ‘burst’ of sweetness throughout. I’ve never tried Soda Bread before, so I don’t know what to compare it too, but I was excited to see someone else had made it, and shared the recipe!
