This recipe was the perfect accompaniment to the broccoli cheddar soup i was making, i was so happy to find a bread twist recipe that didn't take 2 hours. I added 2 small cloves of minced garlic to the butter and omitted the Italian seasonings. They Turned out delicious the dough was light and fluffy and was very easy to make! i will definitely be using it again!

Sorry to hear you had trouble. As with all yeast bread recipes, different humidity levels make a difference in how much flour you will need.
I wanted to put 3 1/2-4 1/2 cups flour in the ingredient list, but that isn't an option here. :(
Just go with your instincts. I bet if you would have added flour till you thought the dough looked right, they would have turned out perfectly!

I was hoping to put my new Kitchenaid to good use and this recipe seemed perfect to go with the soup I was making, but I was disappointed by the dough. Mine was way too sticky, even after adding an extra 1/2, and then another 1/4 to 1/2 cups. I added some garlic powder and rosemary to the dough and it is pretty tasty, just too sticky to roll into ropes and wrap, so I’m just going to turn them into drop rolls.
