I may have missed something that made them turn out this way, since it sounds like most of the veteran donut-makers had no issues with this recipe.  I will probably try it again at some point, when I am feeling adventerous.  When I do, I will update my review.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[This was a very easy-to-follow recipe that made a daunting task like homemade doughnuts very easy and fun to make! I had problems regulating the oil temperature but I think if I deep fry them next time that&#039;ll solve my problem. 
The dough was good but I was expecting something a little sweeter, so I might add a little sugar to the recipe next time. The glaze definitely helped and my favorite was a butter/maple glaze that reminded me a lot of waffles! : )]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[at my 9-yo&#039;s insistence, I made the dough for our family night treat and he helped with the frying -- oil patting and glazing duty.  They were very tasty.  The donuts holes were the guilt-free portion of the night.  Haha.

My two problems were oil temp and perhaps not rolling the dough out thin enough.  The results were either doughy on the inside or quite dark on the outside.  Still tasted great.  If I had made the donuts again within the week, my memory would have helped about oil temp. regulation and would have had more golden, cooked donuts, I think.

This made many donuts so I took them to school the next day for the kids and their friends to have an afterschool &quot;snack.&quot;]]></description>
