Nice soft breadsticks. I love how fast they come together. No waiting for them to rise or rolling out dough. Will be making these again. My family of 5 at the whole batch – my 10 year old devoured them. I did not dip in butter, just lightly brushed with butter and sprinkled parmesan cheese and garlic powder on top.

These were easy and great. I brushed butter on half the breadsticks and sprinkled on some parmesan. Then I added some garlic powder to the remaining butter and brushed that on the second half. I put half of each on each pan and baked both sheets for 8 minutes, then removed the top sheet. I baked the remaining sheet for an additional 7 minutes, and cooled and froze the other half.

I’ve loved these since I was little. I think this recipes goes in the Utah/Mormon classification along with funeral potatoes, green jello salad, fried scones, and a few others. It has been in every ward cookbook i’ve ever owned.

They are so yummy and easy to make! The kiddo’s loved helping. I am just wishing I had maade marinara sauce to dip them in. We will be making them again soon. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful simple recipe.

These are very good, and I love how simple they are to make. I had never done lemon pepper on a breadstick before, and I loved it.

These were definitely easy peasy and very yummy! I didn’t do the butter/parmesan dip – I melted a little butter, added some garlic powder, oregano and salt and brushed it on the breadsticks. I also only made 8, then let the rest of the dough rise during dinner, punched it down, shaped it into a loaf, let it ruse again and now have a loaf of bread for tomorrow! It rose super quick with the high yeast/flour ratio!

These were great! So exciting to find a homemade bread recipe that doesn’t eat up my evening and I love that it would be easy to make so many variations on this basic recipe. Will definitely be making these again!

These are good for 40 min. breadsticks, but compared to ones that take time to raise I don’t think they are as good.
