These were so easy and tasted delicious! I also used half white flour and half whole wheat flour. Will definitely be making these regularly!

Ok, I just wanted to comment again. I’ve made these rolls about five times since I last commented, and I do things a little differently each time. When I used more wheat flour than white, there were tons left over. The rolls were really heavy. This last time I made them with all white flour, left them to rise longer than usual, and they all disappeared the same night. I love this recipe! So does my family

These weren’t too bad as I never seem to have luck with bread when it requires yeast.

They did seem to come out kind of heavy for me though. I did use a 50/50 mix of white & wheat flour.

I could see using them for sandwich rolls since they are thick and hold up well. We had them with dinner tonight and put butter and honey on them. Again, they were good, just a tad heavier than I had hoped for.

And the recipe was super easy

These are GREAT! This recipe also makes great loaves. I am making it every week. I have also expiremented with substiuting some WW flour and decreasing the amount of sugar and it’s just as good! I highly reccomend this recipe. One of the best bread recipes I have found in a long time!!

These were awesome! I’ve used them for shredded hot beef sandwiches — perfect! And I have used them as dinner rolls — perfect. I have also used half whole wheat flour in the “4 cups flour — or a blend” portion, and they were delicious. My kids (6, 4, and 3) inhaled them, and my husband declared them the best part of the meal!

these are great! i had been searching for a yummy and quick recipe! perfect! we’ve used the day old rolls for baked sandwiches – delicious!
