What size can of crescent rolls – the 4 count (small) or 8 count (large)?

Very tender but too rich with so much butter, even using the reduced fat crescent rolls.

I’m confused ( a common occurance I’m afraid). Do I lay the triangles of dough flat around the pan?

If you love crescent rolls this stuff is adicting, very tender and tasty. It’s unique so it has a nice “wow” factor and no one will know how simple it is to make. I think the possibities are endless with the optional savory or sweet add-ins. What a clever idea!

This is very clever. I was thinking how it would be if you unrolled the crescent rolls, added cinnamon sugar and maybe just a little melted butter to bind the sugar, then rolled it back up and proceeded with the recipe…. sorta like a cinnamon roll bundt bread. Hummm……….
