I grew up making it like poster, HEATHER&quot; makes it.  &quot;Butter the bread, sprinkle with sugar, sprinkle with cinnamon, and broil until top has carmelized.&quot;Yummy!  

I&#039;m sure Ree&#039;s is very good, (Love her!) but that doesn&#039;t make the way we grew up eating/making it necessarily the wrong way.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Well...let&#039;s see...I have eaten cinnamon toast my entire very long life and still enjoy it.  However, I did not know I had been making it wrong, my mother had been making it wrong, and my grandmother had been making it wrong.  All I know is that I&#039;ve always enjoyed it a lot (especially with good cinnamon).  Now I need to relearn the correct way to make it and I&#039;m really looking forward to it.  The right way sounds absolutely delicious, especially with the addition of vanilla.  I&#039;m a true believer that things are always better with a little dollop of vanilla (french toast, pancakes and waffles!).  Can&#039;t wait to try it!]]></description>

I do love the way my grandma taught me though, butter white bread, sprinkle with a generous amount of powdered sugar, then sprinkle with cinnamon, then stick it under the broiler until the top is carmalized watch out though cause you can go too far really quick and then you&#039;ll end up with burnt toast... but it is YUMMY!]]></description>
