They sell these in Holland stuffed with falafel or meat and they're delicious, so I was really excited when I saw this recipe! I made them today and stuffed them with some left overs from an indian potatoe dish I made yesterday (I pulsed it in a food processor). They turned out fabulous! Will definitely be making these again...plain and with different stuffings. I hear red bean paste is yummy. Thanks a lot!

you end up with something different.

You can use this recipe to make stuffed buns, or bao. Fillings can be what you want! Many stores sell sweet red bean paste, lotus paste, or sweet black bean paste-all are good. Or, if you get Chinese BBQ pork for dinner, you can chop up the leftovers and add extras. Fish, pumpkin, yam paste-ANYTHING!

Simply take your 2 equal pieces and roll them into little disks, put a small spoonful of filling in the middle, twist up to form a "purse", and place on the paper in the steamer. Steam for 10-12 minutes.

YUM!
