These were delicious and simple! I accidently added to much butter to the topping and it came out weird after baked. The mixture melted and stuck to the pan.. I might put parchment paper in the pan next time to prevent sticking like this.

These were delicious. The topping really made the muffin. I am excited to try the topping recipe on some of my other favorite muffins and breads. It really adds the exact type of crunch you crave.

delicious! i used all whole wheat flour and added a few pecans and they were divine!!! my 2 year old picky eater devoured them!

I made these today with my three-year-old daughter. DELICIOUS, easy and fast! My kids ate TWO EACH for a snack, so these are definitely kid-approved!

We left out the chocolate chips because I thought the topping made them sweet enough. They are moist, delicate and the allspice gives an unexpected flavor.

I was lazy and melted the butter for the topping, rather than cut it in, and it worked just fine. I like the suggestions of adding pecans and whole wheat flower, which I will try next time. Thanks!

Super duper yummy! I loved that I didn’t have to drag my mixer out, too. I do have to say that I think they would probably be better without chocolate chips or with fewer + flour-coated chocolate chips so they don’t sink (i.e. me taking seriously the caveat about only for people with a real sweet tooth).
