This is in my oven now, and my house smells of amazing, sweet, bananas. I made a triple batch, just because of how many bananas I had, and can't wait to make this again.

The recipe was so easy and came out fantastic. I'll probably cut the sugar a bit next time--it turned out slightly too sweet.

I've tried numerous banana bread recipes, and now I've found my favorite! Very flavorful (I personally like to add a little vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg) and moist. My favorite thing about this recipe, besides its simplicity, is that it doesn't call for any butter or oil, and that it doesn't compromise the texture/flavor, at least not to me. I don't feel as guilty having that second slice. :) Tastes great with chocolate chips and/or walnuts.

Like the other reviewer, I had never made banana bread before and choose this recipe because of its simplicity. I made 2 batches, one with chocolate chips and one just plain; both are delicious! I have a friend who lives 2 floors below me and she ran up for a piece and deemed it super yummy. I will be making this again and often!
