Very flavorful (I personally like to add a little vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg) and moist. My favorite thing about this recipe, besides its simplicity, is that it doesn’t call for any butter or oil, and that it doesn’t compromise the texture/flavor, at least not to me. I don’t feel as guilty having that second slice. Tastes great with chocolate chips and/or walnuts.

I made 2 batches, one with chocolate chips and one just plain; both are delicious! I have a friend who lives 2 floors below me and she ran up for a piece and deemed it super yummy.
