Easy and very good. Instead of sugar and cinnamon for the topping, I made a sugar glaze and drizzled it over the tops. Yummy!

these were pretty good — definitely need more than 2 cups of apples though! i would double it next time! also mine never really browned!

Very tasty! I baked in muffin papers and tipped only the tops, so I melted only 1/2 the about of butter and mixed up a 1/2 batch of the cinnamon sugar mix. They are a hit!

I made these for a first grade class treat. To help the teacher, I only dipped the tops in butter/sugar and left them in muffin wrappers. They were a HUGE hit for the kids and adults.

I would call them muffins, not doughnuts. Whatever you may call them, they sure taste good!

These were VERY GOOD! I made mini ones and I felt like they had too much cinnamon and sugar on them, so I think I might just do the tops. I will definately make these again!

I made these with the 5-7 year olds at the daycare where I work. We had just gone apple picking and needed some kid-friendly and easy recipes to use all our apples. This was just the ticket! We had them the next day for snack, and they were a huge hit with the kids and adults. We used either Gala or Empire apples (not exactly sure which or if it was a mixture of the two). Very yummy. I made them as regular sized muffins, but the next time mini muffins might be fun.

Made these today. Delicious! They looked just like the picture, which rarely happens for me. Will definately be making these again. (AfterI lose the 5 pounds I gained by eating half of them this morning.)
