This was my first-ever attempt at making flour tortillas at home. It was a super-easy recipe. Temperature of the skillet was crucial and making sure that the tortillas were rolled thinly enough. Overall, these tortillas were easy to make and so delicious!

*** Tip for rolling out the tortillas - use a gallon zip type bag and cut off the zip top. Slit open one side of the bag and roll the tortilla out in the bag. May have to turn bag over and peel the plastic off every once in a while as you roll, but when you have the dough rolled out as thin as you want it, peel off the plastic and cook. Works like a dream.

I have tried at least a handful of different tortilla recipes and these are by far the easiest and yummiest. They also turn out great with partial whole wheat flour. This is now my go to recipe for tortillas. Thanks for sharing!

Really simple and really tasty. My biggest problem is rolling them out so thin I can't pick them up off the counter. Great recipe that's highly recommended.

Love how easy this dough is to handle, rolls out like a dream! I used a combination of canola and olive oil, never tried oil in a tortilla recipe but liked the result. For me, 1 1/2 tsp salt is too much - next time will only use around a tsp. Thanks for this easy recipe!
