With a heavy heart, I omitted the almonds so my daughter would eat it. I didn’t have almond extract, so I used vanilla. This is more like a cake than a bread–great with ice cream!

I followed the directions to a t. I am going to make it again and bake it for a less amount of time. My oven seems to over cook things.
