I’ve been hearing for years of my Dad and Uncle talking about Great Grandma’s aebleskivers. There was no recipe saved and they being boys did not observe how she made them. This is probably the closest to what was eaten.
There was/is a restaurant close to the fair grounds in Oklahoma City. Yours tastes exactly like theirs. They served aebleskivers to costumers like Italian places serve bread sticks.
