This is the ONLY version of this recipe that actually tastes exactly like I remember from the restaurant. I had to make a minor adjustment because for some reason I kept burning the brown sugar, even on the lowest heat, so once I add the brown sugar, I add a little of the juice mixture to help it dissolve, then let it thicken for a few minutes, then add the rest. if it is still too thin you can always add cornstarch too. I just spent 45 minutes looking for this exact recipe, because none of the others have the 2 vinegars and for some reason want to add water or white grape juice or replace the jack with apple juice, and they just are not the same. I have actually printed this so i dont lose it again. By far my favorite version of this recipe, and the whole family loves it too for the holidays. we use it for steak, chicken, subs, and one time we even used as a pork marinade. So good!!! (and yes I made an account just so I could leave this comment haha)

Holy cow, this recipe is enough to feed an army (except the chicken itself)!
I’m upset TGIF discontinued this appetizer...
This recipe, is nothing like it!
Really disappointed with the time it took me to make this only to find out it’s just an OK recipe.
