I used artichokes straight out of the oil. I didn’t wash them or anything, which is why this recipe calls for so little additional olive oil. If you use artichokes that were in water – then you will need additional olive oil. Hope that helps!!

If it seems dry than you could add a little.Just my guess.I want to make this too.
