Perfect exactly as written! Just an FYI, I used dark brown sugar … and (oops) puffcorn that was a couple weeks past its best-by date. But the end product still turned out crispy and full of buttery caramel-y goodness. Hubbie (the puffcorn fan in the house) loves it. Thanks for sharing.

You’ve just brought back a very delicious childhood memory! I remember having this at a neighbor’s house, but never saw it made anywhere again. If I ever come across Puffcorn, I am making this immediately!

This is one of my favorite recipes at Christmas! I live in MN and we have the Old Dutch Puffcorn, too. I just saw a different brand at my local Cub grocery store this past week, from Frito Lay. Also, Kwik Trip Gas stations has there own brand, I believe.

Oh My Gosh! I can’t wait to try this! When we lived in Cleveland, OH…I used to buy this at a local grocery store and I would eat the entire bag. I cannot find anything like it here but I think I’ve seen the plain puffcorn. I’ll have to look. YUM!

Here in KY, we have puffcorn made by Mike Sells. It’s addictive on it’s own. I can only imagine how much more addictive it would be this way!

My mom makes a recipe similar to this though hers also has peanut butter. Try adding some the next time you make this, it make this corn irrestible!
