We really enjoyed this recipe. It was very easy and came together quickly. Should ¼ Tablespoons Red Pepper Flakes really be 1/4 Teaspoon? I used 1/4 teaspoon and it was very spicy. I cooked the meatballs until they were almost done and then made the sauce in the same pan. I added the meatballs to the sauce and cooked an additional 15 minutes covered. Thanks for this simple weeknight recipe!

Five star recipe. I only changed one ingredient. I used 2 -8 ounce cans of crushed pineapple because that it what I had on hand. I did have to stray a little from the cooking directions. My meatballs did not get done when browning(my fault I cooked them to fast). After mixing up the sweet and sour sauce and cooking on low for a few minutes, I poured them over the meatballs that I still had in the frying pan, put the lid on and let them simmer until the meatballs were done. Then I removed the lid and let the sauce thicken. I served with rice and green beans. Next time I will double the sauce. We loved it over the rice.
