Every year I host an ugly sweater party and this is a HIT, especially among the guys. No meatball is leftover. I buy the frozen meatballs from an Italian market, and cook them in the crockpot so they stay warm and transfer to a dish when the dish runs out. Thank you so much for my favorite recipe!

Made these on New Years Eve with Jim Beam Bourbon. Loved them! Only used one bag of meatballs as wanted to make sure they were good. After eating them, I mentioned to the husband about having a second bag of meatballs and what should I make. He said, make more of these! Did so last night and everyone loved them again. Recommending this recipe to everyone I know.

Oh my gosh these were truly the best party meatballs ever. The sauce was crazy good. I added a few splashes of hot sauce as others suggested and it was a 10++. I used a little less than two full bags of Trader Joe’s mini party meatballs and doubled the recipe for the sauce. I will make these often! Thanks for the winner recipe.

AMAZING Meatballs! I have made these about 6 times now, I made a couple additions this last time since I have served them to the same people a couple times. I added 2 tablespoons of grated onion, couple shakes of red pepper and I doubled the bourbon (Makers Mark) is our choice. Each time I have used the Kirkland brand of meatballs. Hallie, I use Jack Daniel’s Whiskey. The frozen meat balls I get from Aldi. They come in a 32 oz bag, so I do double this recipe. They are the best meatballs I have ever had. I take them to family dinners and pot lucks at work all the time and there are never any left!
