Well, I made a big mistake on this - I was making some pickles at the same time so accidently used just pickling cucumbers intead of pickles! But, they tasted great and my family really enjoyed them :) So I gave this recipe 5 mitts, because we can only imagine how good they will be when I make them again with pickles!!

After reading this recipe and the blog post I made these the other night, for guests, and they were delish. The coating stays on really well. I'm not a dill pickle fan, but, strangely, I liked the warm dill pickle inside the fried cornmeal.
They were easy to make ( a plus for a schmuck like me). They came together fairly quickly too. I used a large dill pickle cut into slices. I did not have the ingredients for the dips, but I can imagine they would totally add that zing that makes it sing.
This recipe is in my folder and I plan to make it again, often.

My family loved these! I used pickle chips from Aldi. They were so easy to make! Definitley will make these again--SOON!! They went excellently with our homemade Buffalo Chicken Tenders and homemade Bleu Cheese dipping sauce. Why go out when you can make all your favorite resturant dishes at home?!
