Now, I am not southern and have never before had fried green tomatoes, so take my review with a grain of salt. We loved the grits, the jalapenos added a great flavor! The tomatoes left something to be desired from us yankees, perhaps the batter could use a bit of a kick as well. I probably won’t make it again as a unit, but the grits would be nice sometime with a fried egg for breakfast.

This is amazing! I’ve never tried jalapenos in grits! Wonderful! The second time I made these grits, I served them with stewed tomatoes and okra on top with boiled shrimp! The leftovers were fabulous, too!

These grits are outstanding! The amount of jalapenos is perfect, just enough bite to count! I love it!
