I’ve made it twice, and it was a hit both times. I used just a dash of cayenne because I was serving it to kiddos as well as adults. I left out the onions because I don’t like raw onions, but I put in a dash of onion powder.

My grandma lived in South Carolina as a young married woman with 2 young children, and pimento cheese was always a favorite of hers. This recipe is very similar to the spread she made, but she always served it smeared in celery sticks instead of peanut butter.
