Made this for teacher gifts tonight, it was absolutely divine! I couldn’t use nuts because it was going to school, so I drizzled melted chocolate over it after it had cooled. Mmmmmmmmmm so good!

Absolutely Love It! I’m making for the 3rd time since Christmas. I substituted light corn syrup once and it still turned out great.

Excellent recipe. I made it 3 times in one week! I saved a little container for myself, but gave it away in bags for Christmas gifts. Excellent gift for mailman, teachers, neighbors, etc. Even my pickiest of recipients claimed she “couldn’t stop eating it!” Thanks for such an easy and adaptable recipe.

This is a great recipe. Very easy and delicious! I used one jar of Planters dry roasted peanuts which equaled a tad over 3 cups. I love carmel corn and this is the easiest recipe I have found yet. No need to get out the candy thermometer! Thanks for sharing!

Amazing. Tried this today, it was easy, went together quickly and the taste….oh the taste. Fabulous. I will leave the peanuts out next time though, this group was all over the delicious coated popcorn, but seemed to sort out the peanuts. Better than I had a right to expect, a keeper for sure.

This looks delicious, very similar to how I make caramel corn, but a nice change.

@jilltamara – unless you want the nuts, you could leave them out altogether, but pecans shouldn’t burn at the low temp. The baking soda makes the coating foamy and light, makes it easier to spread and coat, very cool to watch.

We’ve got peanut allergies in our house – could I substitute pecans? I’m guessing yes, but not sure if they’d burn versus the peanuts. Also, what does the baking soda do? Just curious! This sounds fantastic, can’t wait to try!
