I sliced french bread (not cutting all the way thru) placed sliced fresh mozzarella between each slice, popped it in the oven for 5 minutes on 350, topped with this amazing recipe and sprinkled chopped macadamia nuts on top! My husband and I devoured it! The only thing I did differently was toast it in a pan with butter and use one raw clove of garlic to rub over all the slices of bread before putting the topping on. I also think this would be a great dish to bring to someones home because you could transport it separately, putting the topping on once you arrived at your hosts home. Thanks for the recipe!
