This hummus is great with chips...on a sandwich or in a wrap. My husband is not a hummus fan but really liked this one. The only thing I did differently is I added the whole 15 oz. can of chickpeas instead of measuring out a cup. I love chickpeas and figured it wouldn’t hurt a thing to add more. I will definitely make this again. It is now in my recipe box.

I love this hummus recipe but I would give it 5 stars just for the tip about the tahini substitution. What a great bit of information! It worked wonderfully and you’re right…the peanut butter did not change the taste at all. That is a great way to have “tahini” on hand for a much better price.

Hummus is delicious and so easy to make. I make it different each time. It's great as a healthy alternative to chips when served with assorted veggies. I have never cared for tahini and it can be completely eliminated from hummus recipes..add a little extra EVOO or bean juice or chicken stock to thin it out a little. I like to experiment with garlic, green onions, spices on my shelf. I'm going to take a leap and try the peanut butter suggestion. I also buy dried chickpeas in bulk, soak them overnight and cook briefly in a pot. This is so cheap and makes an endless supply of beans. They can be frozen for future use. Dang, now I'm craving!
