Grill-less persons: rejoice!
1. Stir the smoked paprika, brown sugar, salt and pepper together in a bowl. Rub over both sides of the ribs.
2. Place the ribs in your slow cooker, with the meaty part up against the walls of the pot. Pour the barbecue sauce over the ribs, cover, and cook on low for 8 hours.
3. Set a wire cooling rack sprayed with vegetable oil on a foil-lined baking sheet. Carefully remove the ribs (they’re super tender!) and place on the sheet.
4. Skim the fat from the sauce and pour the remaining sauce into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and allow the liquid to reduce by 1/3, about 15 minutes.
5. Preheat the broiler. Spoon the reduced sauce over the bone side of the ribs and broil for 2 minutes. Flip and spoon the remaining sauce over the meaty side and broil for another 2-3 minutes. Enjoy!
