I LOOOOOVE s’mores so I made this tonight. I should have planned better to have company when I made it because now I have this huge, delicious pie and only me to eat it! I hope it’s okay I shared it on Facebook. I’m just crossing my finger it’ll freeze well because I’m planning to portion it out and freeze the pieces for when I get these cravings again. That way next time it won’t require a trip to Wal-Mart just for the supplies!

Thank you for this recipe! I made this exactly as stated (except only 7 hershey bars) last night and it was pretty delicious but I am excited to make the following changes next time: I used unsalted butter and it was just begging for some sea salt – I will sprinkle a good bit on top of the chocolate bars. Also, a slice of this just seemed like a bit too much to me – I think we all got a tummy ache (because obviously we couldn’t leave a bit on our plate!) So, next time I will try it in an 8×8 pan and cut into squares. This really is a great recipe and worth making a few changes for my taste!

I made this and wish that I had actually used eight chocolate bars. The photo made me feel like one layer was enough, just three bars. I’m sure the extra fiv bars would have made a big difference!! Just ok for our crowd.

You say to cool the pie completely – so it does not need to be served warm? Can I make it to bring to someone’s house or will it be too cool then?
