Found this online as a substitute for Kahlua (if you avoid alcohol, as I do): Substitute for kahlua:
Chocolate extract, 1 teaspoon per 2 tablespoons of Kahlua. Or 1 teaspoon instant expresso powder per 2 tablespoons of Kahlua (http://www.gourmetsleuth.com/Dictionary/K/Kahlua-6377.aspx#ixzz2xMColABp)

How are these even legal? They look sinfully delicious. If you don't have Kahlua or avoid alcohol do you think you could use the same amount of cold coffee instead?

These cookies look scrumptious, but where did you get the idea that Tiramisu is time consuming and complicated? It's really simpler and takes no longer to mix up and assemble than a batch of cookies does to mix, bake and fill... I do it a few times, from early spring to late summer and the only thing that keeps me from doing it more often is how expensive mascarpone is! :-)
