This looks divine!! I wanted to make this this week but pulled up the recipe and didn’t find the breakdown for the slaw. Am I missing something or is it just not posted? Thanks.

No, Jayne! Don’t be afraid. To be honest, I’m not a big fan of beets. I like them in this slaw and in borscht, but that’s about it. They have an “earthy” taste that everyone talks about, but I think it’s just a euphamism for “tastes like dirt”. Wow, I’m really selling it, aren’t I? Just try them. The color is fantastic and they mix well with oranges and apples!

Which spoons? The ones I used in the post (with the flowers) were given to us as a wedding gift (Target). The one in the recipe section at the bottom of the post is Julia’s photo. You could definitely send her a message!

Look at those colours! I’ve never really had beets before. The colour scares me. Should I be afraid? But the flavours of the apples, orange zest, nuts and everything makes it look and sound so awesome!
