Question: I bought my cake mix, without much thought. Had to buy one with pudding in the mix because I couldn’t find one without! I noticed when I got home that my box mix indicated about 15. oz (give or take). The batter seemed very moist and I almost couldn’t cover my 9×13 pan.

Should I have added 3 more oz of flour possibly? I just wasn’t sure how to fix it. They still had a great taste, but very rich and crumbly.

Cranberries are so expensive here (RM17.00 for a pack of 200gms compared to RM0.85 for one lemon). I was going to make a little cranberry sauce for the turkey leg dinner we’d be having on New Year’s, then keep some leftovers for a cranberry sauce muffin I just saw. And now these bars? Gah! Don’t know what I should do. Maybe splurge on another pack of them berries just to make this.

This was a great way to use my cranberry sauce! And the hub even liked them (doesn’t like cranberry sauce but put it in a bar and he does – go figure).
