Since our grandbabies will be going to visit their other grandparents, we will spend a quite weekend at home with our three fur babies, Princess, Paris, & Smeagol.

Painting and plumbing are the plans. Painting my grandparents two story 100 year old farmhouse that I proudly inherited. I can feel it starting to smile as I am coating it with bright white paint underneath its green metal roof. Soon it will be wearing green shutters to enhance its beauty. During breaks from the ladder, I will be assisting my talented husband with the plumbing. I think I like painting better. I guess I am putting the “labor” in Labor Day. Have a GREAT Holiday!

I will be painting my bathroom Benjamin Moore #138 Vivid Beauty…..I have been wanting to paint it since the beginning of the summer when I saw this wonderful orange/peach color at a beach house…..Have a great holiday!

I just made these (used white sugar, a little extra baking powder and a good splash of milk) and they are delicious! What a great breakfast muffin this will make.
