OMG~~It was very bit as good as something I’d find in a gourmet restaurant.
Used a double smoked bacon and the aroma is still lingering.
As for the bacon grease, we do eat healthy the majority of the time but every now and then we throw caution to the wind and indulge. And really, there isn’t all that much grease per serving….we just can’t eat like that every day.
Usually, when trying a new recipe, I’ll think of different things to do with it the next time. This recipe really doesn’t need any tweaking.
