Description

What could be better for the holidays than America’s favorite cookie as a pie served sundae style?

Ingredients

  • 2 whole Eggs
  • ½ cups All-purpose Flour
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • ½ cups Dark Brown Sugar
  • ¾ cups Soft Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet Morsels
  • 1 cup Chopped Pecans
  • 1 whole 9" Deep Dish Pie Crust Unbaked

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325 degrees (F).

Beat eggs in large bowl on high speed until eggs are foamy. Then beat in the flour and sugars. Next add the softened butter and vanilla and beat. Finally add the chocolate chips and nuts and stir by hand to blend. Spoon into unbaked pie shell.

Bake 55-60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the middle of the pie comes out clean. Serve pie while warm with whipped cream or ice cream, and caramel and hot fudge sauce.

So good! I love how the chocolate chips settle and you get a layer of chocolate in your pie. :) We served ours w/ vanilla ice cream, caramel, and hot fudge sauce. :)

This is my family’s favorite pie. I’ve been making it for a few years, and it never lasts more than 3 hours in our house!
