I made these this morning right after reading the blog post about them. I used blueberries instead of chocolate chips and halved the recipe, and they were wonderful! So, so delicious! This will be my go-to waffle recipe from now on.

I made these for breakfast for my co-workers and they were a hit! People loved how fluffy and delicious they were. I also whipped some up for my boyfriend and he said that they were much better than the recipe he usually uses! This is our go to recipe from now on!

Yummy! I made these yesterday for dinner. I cut it in half since it’s just me and my husband. It’s a great base recipe. I made my husband’s waffles with the chocolate chips and mine with cooked bacon in them and they were both awesome!

I made these this morning and my family LOVED them! I also halved the recipe because it is very gernerous. I still got 5 huge waffles out of the batch. I think next time I will go ahead make a full recipe and put the leftovers in the freezer for a quick breakfast treat on mornings we are running short on time. Thank you for posting, this will be made again in our house!

Let me state for the record that I have never made homemade waffles. They have always, always come from a box. o.k.? So I was feeling a little overly zealous this morning with all the kids done with their schooling for the year….and so I whipped these up. It tasted like I was eating chocolate chip cookies for breakfast! How divine! I did half the recipe and it made 4 HUGE waffles. We could only each eat half a waffle….well I could have ate the whole thing, but I resisted! Yummy, thanks!
