Grandpa’s Hot Sauce

Description
My Grandfather created this after living in the Southwest for quite a number of years. We always have it at family gatherings. It’s a staple in our house!
Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons Cayenne Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Tabasco Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1 can Tomato Paste (smallest You Can Find)
- 1 jar Hot Banana Pepper Rings (16 Ounce)
- 1 can Tomato Sauce (12 Ounce)
- 1 can Stewed Tomatoes (12 Ounce)
Preparation
1. Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth.
2. Transfer to a saucepan and bring to a simmer. Let simmer for 5 minutes and remove from heat.
3. Let cool to room temperature and taste for seasoning adjustments, adding more sugar, salt or Tabasco, as needed.
Serve with tortilla chips, taco salad, veggie chips, or whatever!
