Oh gosh this was good – and I am not a tofu eater. I used extra firm tofu and decided the flavors were crying for an additon of cilantro which was great! Lo cal too – 1 serving calculated at 155 calories so I got to eat double! LOL

This recipe was delicious. It is so quick and easy! I added a pinch of red pepper flake in the oil before sauteing the tofu to add a little kick. I would also recommend draining and patting dry the tofu before adding it to the pan for better/quicker browning. The tofu mixture was still good re-heated the next day!

This was truly yummy and a great thing to do with tofu. Might add a bit more soy next time, but it was delicious!

As previous reviews have said, I drained and patted my tofu with paper towels until it was as dry as I could get it which helped with the browning tremendously. Added a little more soy as well. Omitted the avocado and did not miss it – a great way to incorporate tofu into the diet!

I made this for dedicated vegetarians-and hungry meat eaters-and it is just SO GOOD. Try Bragg’s Amino Acids in place of soy sauce for lower sodium, more protein, and ALL the flavor.
