Description

Marinated cucumber slices.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Cucumber
  • 2 Tablespoons Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce

Preparation

Peel and slice cuke into a shallow dish. Put in equal amounts of lemon juice and soy sauce, adjusting for taste. If you want it more tart, add lemon juice; if you want it more salty, add more soy sauce. Let marinate 10 to 20 minutes before eating. You won’t believe how this changes the flavor of cucumbers! Ponzu is lemon and soy sauce and can be bought ready-made.
