Description

Want to know how to make the best simple flour tortillas with just 4 ingredients? It’s really much more tasty than anything you can buy. Let’s get started!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Flour (I Used Equal Parts Spelt And All-purpose, But You Can Use Only One Or The Other)
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ¾ cups Warm Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Oil (olive Oil Or Sunflower Oil)

Preparation

Put flour in a bowl. Add salt.

Add ½ cup of warm water and stir. Add remaining water and stir until consistent.

Add oil and knead dough until smooth and consistent. Let rest for 30 minutes.

Divide into eight small balls and roll on a floured surface with a rolling pin.

Warm a pan or griddle medium or high. Cook tortilla for about 1 minute each side, or until it bubbles up and has nice brown patches.
