Description

I really like making these quick and easy gluten-free burgers because they not only consist of highly nutritious wild salmon (obviously), they’re also packed with superfoods such as garlic, ginger and sesame seeds.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Salmon, Skin Removed
  • 1 Tablespoon Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Ume Plum Vinegar
  • 1 clove Garlic, Pressed
  • 1 teaspoon Peeled And Minced Fresh Ginger
  • ¼ cups Chopped Scallions (white And Green Parts
  • ½ cups Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • 2 whole Large Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons Grapeseed Oil, For Frying

Preparation

Rinse the salmon, pat dry and cut into ¼-inch cubes. In a large bowl, combine salmon, oil, ume, garlic, ginger, scallions, sesame seeds and eggs. Form the mixture into 2-inch patties.

Heat the grapeseed oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4 to 6 minutes per side, until golden brown. Transfer patties to a paper towel-line plate and serve hot.

Is the salmon cooked or uncooked? Thanks!

Made these last night for dinner. They have a really nice Asian flavor to them and the sesame seeds give it a nice crunch. I have trouble finding good salmon recipes that my husband will like and he was all over these.
