In a large bowl, mix all dry ingredients well (flour, pancake mix, cocoa, sugar, flax meal, almond meal). Then add agave, vanilla, eggs, coconut oil and refried beans. Mix well and pour batter into a greased 9-inch square or round cake pan.
Bake between 20 to 25 minutes at 350ºF till an inserted knife or toothpick comes out clean.
Notes:
I have served these brownies iced or plain and they are delicious either way.
I have used seasoned refried beans (gives brownies a zippy flavor) but prefer to use the vegetarian no fat, no seasoning variety.
