Description

Delicious, chewy, fat free brownies that taste just like the “No Pudge Fudge” brand, but without the box mix! You’ll love these yummy “guilt-free” treats.

Sorry, not a great picture but I forgot to take one before I dove into this batch.. haha!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ¾ cups Flour
  • ½ cups Cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons Cornstarch
  • ¼ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ¼ Tablespoons Salt
  • ⅔ cups Non-fat Vanilla Yogurt

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.

2. Mix sugar, flour, cocoa, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl until well-combined.

3. Add yogurt and mix until thoroughly combined. (Batter will be very thick.)

4. Spray an 8×8 inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.

5. Pour batter into the pan and spread evenly.

6. Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the pan comes out clean.

7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.

Optional: You may add chocolate chips or any other flavor baking chips to the batter or on top of the brownies after you remove them from the oven for an even more delicious brownie. I usually add chocolate chips and peanut butter chips to the brownie batter before I put it in the oven and they are to die for!

I absolutely loved these brownies!! The only thing I had a problem with was the amount of yogurt I was supposed to put it in. I feel like there wasn’t enough and had to keep adding more and then also add more sugar. Other than that they were absolutely delicious and I will continue to make them.

jenniferlynn: I heard that substituting the sugar with Splenda makes the brownies too hard, so I substituted half of the sugar (1/2 cup) with Splenda, and used sugar for the remaining half cup, and the brownies came out just fine! :) Just so you know!

Brownies made with yogurt?! I’m intrigued…I may have to try these and substitute the sugar for Splenda.

I have made these twice, and I substitute the sugar with stevia and I dislike the taste and texture…

I have to say they were much better than expected. There is no reason for me to use any other brownie recipe again. I made them without adding any extra chocolate chips or anything. I wanted to see how they tasted plain. They were very good. I might use some time of chip next time to mix it up. Thanks for sharing!

WOW!!! I was really skeptical about making these. I really figured that they would turn out tasting about as great as any other “guilt free” brownie recipe. I am amazed- they are fantastic!! Excellent texture, excellent taste, and they even LOOK good! Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe!
