Description

Mozzarella sticks? Marinara sauce? Nope! Crunchy tofu sticks.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (about 14 To 16 Oz. Size) Extra-firm Tofu, Pressed
  • ¼ cups Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • ¼ teaspoons Ground Ginger
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • 1 dash Sriracha Or Sambal Oelek
  • ½ cups Panko
  • Chopped Scallions For Garnish

Preparation

After making sure tofu is drained, slice it into the size of pieces you would like to eat. The smaller the pieces, the crunchier they will be in the oven.

Stick tofu into a marinade of soy sauce, ground ginger, garlic, and sriracha/sambal oelek. Marinate for about 30 minutes (you can leave it overnight).

Preheat oven to 400ºF.

Once you have marinated tofu to your taste, pour panko into another Ziploc bag. Transfer tofu into the bag and shake until it is covered.

Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with a little bit of cooking spray.

Place tofu on the baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, flip, and bake for 15 more minutes.

Garnish with scallions and serve with dipping sauce of your choice!
