Description

Start with a store-bought dressing, and keto-fy it! Then make this wonderfully seasoned Asian salad. Recipe is for a single meal-size salad. Multiply as needed. Suitable for Atkins, Keto, LCHF, low carb, diabetic, low glycemic, gluten free, grain free, sugar free, dairy free, nut free, coconut free.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces, weight Cabbage, Shredded Or Chopped
  • 2 ounces, weight Cooked Chicken Thigh Meat, Diced
  • ½ ounces, weight Slivered Almonds (Omit For Nut Free)
  • 1 stalk Green Onion/Scallion, Sliced Diagonally
  • ¼ cups Cilantro, Chopped
  • FOR THE DRESSING:
  • 2 Tablespoons Organicville Ginger Miso Dressing
  • 1 Tablespoon Mitsukan Rice Vinegar (Unseasoned)
  • 1 Tablespoon Kikkoman Gluten Free Soy Sauce, Or Tamari Sauce Or Coconut Aminos
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 2 teaspoons Sukrin Fiber Syrup Gold, Or Sugar Free Pancake Syrup

Mix dressing ingredients, and pour over salad. Toss lightly. Serve.

Notes:
• You can make the salad dressing up in a large quantity, and store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Then just throw this salad together for a quick meal.
• I get no kickback for products used in my recipes. Brand names are included to assure more accurate nutritional estimates. Nutrition information is based on My Fitness Pal’s online recipe analyzer. The recipe is stored there and available to MFP users for logging in their food diaries. Sugar alcohols and liquid Sucralose are excluded from nutrition counts, as they are not absorbed by the body and rate zero on the glycemic index.
