Description

Great for a cool fall day, these few simple ingredients turn your everyday tomato soup into something special. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 3 cans Tomato Soup (10 3/4 Oz)
  • 3 cans Water (or As Directed)
  • ⅓ cups White Wine
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • ⅓ cups Gorgonzola, Crumbled
  • 3 Tablespoons Fresh Basil, Chopped

Preparation

Heat tomato soup and water to a soft boil. Add wine, garlic powder and black pepper to taste. Simmer 10 minutes. Stir in gorgonzola and simmer a couple more minutes. Stir in fresh basil and serve.

Note: All measurements are approximations. Adjust according to your taste, throwing a little more in here or there as you need.

made this last night – LOVE IT!

super simple and quick, but enough of an “umph” to make it completely different from regular tomato soup!
