Description

Delicious one pot dish that is never disappointing.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 package (1.25 Ounces) Taco Seasoning
  • 1 can (12 Ounces) Black Beans
  • 1 can (12 Ounces) Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 can (12 Ounces) Tomato Sauce
  • ½ cans (Half Of A 12 Ounce Can) Corn
  • ½ cups Salsa
  • ½ cups Water
  • 3 pinches Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • Optional Garnishes: Crumbled Tortilla Chips, Freshly Grated Cheddar Cheese, Sour Cream And Freshly Chopped Chives

Preparation

Start off by browning the ground beef in a pot over medium heat. Once it is brown, drain it if necessary, then place the meat back in the pot and add the taco seasoning. Let this cook together for a few minutes then add your black beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, corn, salsa, and water. For the water, put the 1/2 cup into your tomato sauce can and swish it around, so you can get all the flavor possible. Let this mixture come to a simmer. Add the red pepper flakes, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Let this simmer over medium-low heat for 20 minutes.

To make this dish even more delicious, top your bowl of soup with crumbled tortilla chips, freshly grated cheddar cheese, sour cream and freshly chopped chives.
