Description

This hearty and slightly spicy chicken soup will warm you from in the inside on a cold day.

Ingredients

  • 3 whole Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 12 ounces, weight Canned Tomato Sauce
  • 4 ounces, weight Canned Chopped Green Chilies
  • 2 cans (12 Oz. Can) Petite Dice Tomatoes With Chilies
  • 2 cans (12 Oz. Can) Black Beans
  • 1 cup Salsa
  • Blue Corn Chips
  • Shredded Cheese

Preparation

Set slow cooker to low setting. Combine all ingredients except chips and cheese. Make sure that your chicken breasts are covered by the liquid. Cook on low for 8 hours.

After 8 hours, shred the chicken breasts with a fork and add back to the liquid. Stir in the shredded meat. Serve topped with cheese and crumbled chips.
