I made this soup last night and it was so good! It was creamy and delicious! It was a wonderful way to use up ham. Yummy!

This was good and so easy! I doubled the recipe and made a few modifications . . . we have lactose issues so I halved the milk and added chicken broth for the rest of the liquid. Also stirred in some fresh ground pepper and some thyme.

I loved this soup!
I added some chicken bouillon (the paste kind) to give it some salt and richer flavor, and it was just what it needed.

Delicious! I added more potatoes and left out the ham. This soup was filling and perfect for when you need to warm up from being in the cold.

I baked the potatoes and diced them up. Instead of the potato water, I used chicken broth. I used 7 yellow potatoes. I also added 1 c cooked broccoli florets and added almost 2 cups of smoked ham, diced. I left all the other ingredients the same and added salt to taste. Very good! Leftovers were even better!

Very good soup! Fairly quick and easy to make. I used bacon instead of ham and it was delicious!
