Description

This dish fills your home with magical aromas, and disappears with no complaints! Plus, it’s a tasty way to use up the leftover ham in your fridge. This goes in the crockpot in less than 7 minutes. Not too shabby.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Black Beans, Drained And Rinsed
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Kidney Beans, Drained And Rinsed
  • 1 can (14.5 Oz. Can) Stewed Tomatoes
  • 1-¼ cup Chicken Broth Or Bouillon
  • 1 cup Diced Cooked Ham
  • 1 whole Small Onion, Chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper

Preparation

Mix all ingredients in a 4-quart slow cooker and stir to combine. Cook on high 3-4 hours.

I made this over the weekend it was pretty good, I didn’t have any Italian seasoning so I just omitted, and threw in a little BBQ sauce. Great for lunch the next day too.
