Description

The next time you’re tempted to order pizza, put down the phone and break out this super easy and delicious recipe! From the stove to your table in 30 minutes or less!

I’m so happy I found this recipe of my mom’s. I have just started making it again and it’s so perfect for the nights you’re a little rushed or just don’t feel like cooking an elaborate meal!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces, weight Ground Meat (I Use Turkey)
  • 10 ounces, fluid Minestrone Soup
  • 14 ounces, fluid Pizza Sauce
  • 14 ounces, fluid Water
  • 40 pieces Pepperoni (I Use Hormel Turkey)
  • 4 dashes Tabasco Sauce
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Black Pepper
  • ½ cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Preparation

Spray a large pot with cooking spray and turn the stove to medium heat. Cook your ground meat and make sure it separates into smaller pieces as you cook it (think like taco meat).

When meat is nicely browned, drain off the excess grease. Add soup, pizza sauce and water into your pot (the easiest thing to do is to pour in the jar of pizza sauce, then fill the jar up with water—no measuring cup needed!). Stir well.

Cut your pepperoni slices into halves or quarters (I halve 20 and quarter 20, just for some variety) and add to the pot.

Shake in a few drops of Tabasco sauce, add salt and pepper and stir. Turn heat to medium. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes.

Serve and top with shredded mozzarella.

(Also, my fiancé won’t let me make this unless I have some sort of crusty bread around for dipping!)
