A Mexican soup full of flavor.
On low heat, saute onions in the oil until softened and in the last 30 seconds add the garlic. Move to high heat and add chiles, cilantro, tomatoes, broth, cumin, sugar, and lime juice. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
Now add cooked chicken and salt and pepper and let it simmer for another 10 minutes.
Place broken tortilla chips in bottom of soup bowl and add soup. Top with shredded cheese and some cilantro.

I’ve seen a lot of Chicken Tortilla Soup recipes, but this one is calling to me.
